Jim Fairchild is a guitarist in the band Grandaddy.  He's also worked extensively with Modest Mouse over the years, and he's released music himself under the names All Smiles and (most recently) Small Isles.  Jim's role in the band Grandaddy gives him the opportunity to share commentary and offer up first-hand stories about the band and Jason's songwriting.
