Kristyn Burr leads the way with HomeAid Northern Virginia to serve all humans suffering from Homelessness. Over 10,000 people are homeless each night in the Washington DC area and approximately 37,000 are veterans nationwide.

Hear the journey to her purpose of blending an MBA with a passion for philanthropy and service to others. Her shift in perspective from traveling to over 40 countries, being a mother, a cyclist, and a Yoga Teacher prepares her to serve every day. Additionally, she is the founder SEVA Prison Yoga which takes a yoga practice to prison inmates in Fairfax County and Loudoun County.

An example of their work is HomeAid Northern Virginia’s partnership with Christopher Companies and Operation Renewed Hope to renovate and rebuild a home creating a safe space to live for formerly homeless veterans.
