Finding your passion was once something we all strived for.

Then it all seemed a bit 'too' difficult and finding your passion went right out of fashion. It started to be seen as a luxury, something you'd be lucky to get but highly unlikely to bring in enough money to pay the bills.

Lauren always knew she wanted to work in fashion. From making clothes with her Barbie dolls out of tights(!) and shoes out of blu-tack she was destined for a design job.

Lauren had, what some would consider, to be amazing jobs on the way, such as PR and buying for major high street fashion retailers. Yet, she knew these weren't her passion.

She persevered until she landed costume design opportunities in low budget short films, working her way up to film sets featuring major Hollywood A-listers.

Now as a full time, self-employed costume designer she is doing exactly what she loves, working on film sets around the world. Lauren talks through her journey and how she realised it was exactly what she wanted to do.
