This week we feature Maryam Mazraei,  who has over 7 years of experience working in both startup and scale-up environments in a range of industries such as SaaS, AI/ML and Fintech. 

Maryam is no stranger to the startup world. She founded her first company at the age of 18 and one of her most recognized works called Autopsy, captured the attention of the likes of Marc Andreessen and featured in top publications such as Bloomberg, Business Insider and the Wall Street Journal.

She has been involved in the Blockchain and Web3 space since 2015 and is keen to support more opportunities in this space in the UK and Europe.

She is currently a VC Investor at a UK Seed Fund called Ascension, investing across verticals such as Future of Work, B2B Saas, B2C, D2C, Fintech and Impact. She is also part-time Community Lead at Weekend Fund and a Kernel fellow. Alongside this, she is looking into ways to make NFT investing accessible to the mass through fractionalization.
