Maya is a Chinese adoptee who was adopted by white parents since she was a baby. She studied English and Creative Writing in college and library sciences in graduate school. Currently, she is working as a librarian in the greater Boston area. In this episode, we discuss issues around the Model Minority Myth and Maya’s experiences as an adoptee.
