The Time Guardian is a film following some time travelers escaping some cyborgs who are doing things because of reasons that we never get told.

It's a mess, and it's set in the Australian outback, the film starts as a sci-fi then forgets that it's a sci-fi and follows a tale about small town shitty cops instead.

Carrie Fisher is in the film, and just lays down for 90% of it doing nothing at all.
