Yay! Finally putting this episode out! I actually recorded this one a while back when I first started my podcast.
Alexa is the founder and CEO of Huha Underwear and Studio Media. I absolutely love Alexa’s entrepreneurial journey and have been following her for a while.
She noticed and felt like something was missing in the undergarment industry for women - so she seized that opportunity and from there built a movement to uplift and empower women. Huha, is a line of anti-bacteria, anti-odor underwear.
More than a comfortable product, Alexa has positioned Huha as a brand that sparks conversations. In addition to their highly inclusive marketing images, the brand uses fruit as an analogy to sizes, a topic that Alexa realized was uncomfortable for many women to talk about.
Studio Media, Alexa’s marketing agency has almost tripled its revenue in the past three years, working with big brands like Jack Daniels, L’Oréal Professional, and Westin Hotels & Resorts.
So, if you're looking to learn more about starting a product business and using social media to leverage your brand - then this is the episode for you. :)
