Matt Dun is a Professor of kids cancer research & NHMRC investigator EL1 at University of Newcastle, Australia. With the devastating news that Josie, his daughter was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer DIPG. Matt has made it his life mission to working and researching towards finding a cure for DIPG and helping many other families who are unfortunately diagnosed with it. 
Matt also enrolled in the Navy at 17 where he went on to finish school and later on enrol into Newcastle Uni. Rugby being his other passion where he to this day helps coach the Seahorses in first grade. Great human being and absolutely loved the chat.
