Everything we have comes from God... so why does He want 10% of it back? Perhaps... just perhaps, God doesn't want our money. Perhaps what He really wants is our heart. And maybe the reason why giving back is so hard, is because it is supposed to be hard. It is supposed to be scary. Giving is a representation of faith. It shows God that we trust in Him for our security, our comfort, and our identity - not in the material things of this world. God tells us to test Him in this, so let's test Him. Let's give God the opportunity to show us that He can do far more with nine dollars than we can do with ten.
