In episode 90, Genny shared that this quote was one of her favourites as it reminds her she can overcome adversity when going through a difficult experience. She shared a few examples of dealing with a “broken heart”, grief, and losing her job, and how that made her feel in the moment.

She stressed the importance of being resilient and taking the pain and suffering as an opportunity to build strength.

In addition, she shared that the Kelly Clarkson song, “Stronger–What Doesn’t Kill You” makes reference to this quote.
