The 80s have been and gone. Slasher films have faded into memory. But oh? What's this? A new wave of Slasher horror slicing it's way onto screen?

Hell yeah, it's the 90s and with it comes the rebirth of the genre, most notably in the 'meta horror' subgenre. We're taking a look at one of the pioneers of this genre - Wes Craven's New Nightmare, the 7th instalment of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. It's definitely unique, but does it hold up to the original?

Euan's pick this week is the film that spawned 100 parodies. You may not have seen it, but you've definitely seen the trope of the man in the fishing slick and hook-hand. I Know What You Did Last Summer is a surprisingly decent entry amongst the slew of garbage coming out in the late 90s - but where does it fare in our rankings?
