The Doctor and Rose are separated as they find themselves the unwilling contestants in a series of twisted reality television programs with deadly consequences if they lose. Soon, the Doctor realizes that the Game Station is the same broadcast network they visited a century in the past, now run by The Bad Wolf Corporation and that he wasn’t brought here by accident. The Daleks have returned from hiding after the Time War and are using the competition shows to harvest and convert human genetic material into a new army of fanatical and insane hybrids.

The Doctor knows he must do whatever it takes to stop them, even if it means making the ultimate sacrifice.
