Este es uno de esas episodios que costó mucho, mucho esfuerzo: más que nada, porque hay tánto que pide ser elaborado aquí y por tanto, todo lo que se tuvo que eliminar; ya que no quiero que éste quede demasiado superficial…

Es un tema mucho muy transcendente, ya que por ahí vamos a ver una transición fundamental y exponencial. Pronto vamos a alcanzar ese histórico momento de “punto crítico” donde ya las posibilidades de prevención y reparación rebasan los efectos de patologías - y el mismo envejecer.

El reto, a nivel individual, va a ser saber escoger bien de las posibilidades que van a surgir, y a la vez no dejarnos abrumar por la aceleración en los cambios que ya empezaron; hay que estar informados y con eso, prepararnos para el futuro –

This is one of those episodes that took a lot of effort — mainly because there is so much that deserves to be explored here… and therefore, so much that had to be left out. I don’t want this topic to end up feeling superficial.

It’s a profoundly important subject, because we’re about to witness a fundamental — and exponential — transition. Very soon, we will reach that historical “critical point” where the possibilities for prevention and repair begin to surpass the effects of disease — and even aging itself.

The challenge, at the individual level, will be knowing how to choose wisely among the options that will appear… and at the same time, not allowing ourselves to be overwhelmed by the accelerating changes that have already begun.

We must stay informed — and with that, prepare ourselves for the future…
