Every year, I like to replay the audio recording of the first two hours, so we here in the USA won't ever let our guard down.

Several of the guys on our technical rescue team that I was a part of are now sick because of their deployment on USAR Task Force Two. I saw many photos right from ground zero. It was awful.

But if they had to do it again, they would, in a heartbeat because that's just what we do.
