the distance between the earth and the sun

but the sun rises every day and I see her

the sun sets every night and I say goodbye

but somehow it feels further than the distance between the earth and the sun

91.95 million miles -- and I watched the sunset every night

six feet …and I never really got the chance to say goodbye
