As a person of color, does America belong to me in any way? Is it mine, like when Scarface read the words, "The World Is Yours" on the side of that blimp? Is this my country? Should I feel a sense of an inherent ownership and pride for America? I'm not sure there are satisfactory answers. I get pensive on this one, but do hear me out. Then let me know what you think.
