Deacon Joshua Whicker MGL (Missionaries of God's Love) is being ordained to priesthood on the 28th April 2023.

I joked with Josh that he must be a popular guy at social gatherings as politics and religion are often the last topics people want to discuss given how conflicting different ideals could be.

That said, we talked a lot about his personal journey to pursuing faith and I think that most people will find in life a time when they either choose to come closer to faith or walk away from it.

Despite this, I think that all humans have this innate desire to find something faith based and in the absence of faith we fill these desires with varying ideologies, or disciplines.

Irrespective of what your position is on religion, I hope that there are some great thought starters here to ponder on.
