April is known as National Stress Awareness month so I wanted to do something a bit different.
As you know, we talk a lot about the brain on this show and how it reacts to the world around us.
I try to give you practical tips you can use to better manage your mind so that it does not manage you.
For this month though, I decided to do something a bit different and take you through some anonymous case studies of actual clients I have worked with and seen amazing transformations within.
So, I want to talk to you today about a client I will name Suzie.
Suzie is a professional woman performing at a high level and going places in a tough and demanding field.
In addition to her professional accolades, she is a wife and mother to a family that she loves very much and she wanted to be present for.
On paper, she had everything figured out except she felt tired, anxious and overwhelmed.
She would find that she was meeting deadlines but procrastinating and then overperforming at the last minute.
When she got home, she felt like she was not the best version of herself and found herself too drained to give what she wanted to her kids and husband.
