Shelia and Jeremy Bamber were adopted by June and Nevill within the first six months of birth. June had always wanted to be a mother and the couple was well off and provided a loving and supporting home, despite the fact that both children said that they felt unattached and unconnected to the family after many years away at school.

As adults, both Jeremy and Shelia lived off of their parents good fortune, though Shelia was married for a short amount of time, though things ended after several miscarriages and one successful birth. Now the mother of two beautiful baby boys, Shelia was living in a flat owned by her parents, and worked mediocre jobs.

Jeremy did the same, though he lived in a cottage on his parents property, drove a car that they bought him and owned a small stake in the family's caravan site.

By 1985, it seemed that both Jeremy and Shelia would be assisted by their parents for the rest of theirs lives and Shelia had been through a couple of stints in a psychiatrist hospital, after experiencing fits and visions.

But that all changed on August 6, 1985 when the White House Farm was attacked.
