#SpiderMan returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony and Marvel Studios (Disney) have come to an agreement that sees the studios splitting production and revenue 75/25 (favoring Sony) and will allow Kevin Feige to co-produce a third Spider-Man: Homecoming film, while also allowing Tom Holland to appear in at least one more Marvel Studios crossover. Spider-Man 3 is due in theaters on July 16, 2021.
Brandon Routh returns as Superman! First photos from Crisis on Infinite Earths show the actor in the famous Alex Ross-designed Kingdom Come suit, which will debut in the CW's big crossover event that also features Tyler Hoechlin and Tom Welling as Clark Kent and the alter-ego, Superman.
Kevin Feige is co-producing a Star Wars movie! He'll team up with Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy to produce a brand-new entry in the Star Wars universe. No details on the film's specifics or when it will come out.
Jeffrey Wright and Jonah Hill are joining Matt Reeves' #TheBatman! Wright, veteran of the 007 franchise and star of HBO's Westworld, will star as James Gordon while Hill's role is unknown. It's speculated that he could play The Penguin or Riddler in this DC standalone film.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series has found its director. Deborah Chow, director of two episodes of the upcoming The Mandalorian, will direct the entire original series, which will start production in a couple of months.
