Are you a DIY person when it comes to fitness? What is DIY fitness you ask? DIY fitness is what I call it when you Google workouts, search them up on YouTube, and maybe thumb through Pinterest to look up what looks promising. We live in a time when we can tap our phone screens for how to DIY pretty much anything...insert-the-blank. This includes DIY’ing our workouts.
Does this sound like you? I know it’s something that I’ve done and I want to share with you the advantages, benefits, and drawbacks of a DIY fitness plan so that you can decide for yourself if you need to make changes, keep doing what you’re doing, or step it up.
QUESTION OF THE DAY: If following a DIY fitness plan hasn’t been helping you with your fitness and health goals why do you think you still choose to stick to this type of fitness plan?
BONUS QUESTION: Reflecting honestly, is it mostly serving/helping you with the plans God has for you? Or hurting you?
TINY TASK: Take 5 minutes to do a personal assessment so you can determine if a DIY fitness plan is worth it. (If it isn’t, then it’s probably time to put your trust in a coach to help lead you.)
