Charles H. Spurgeon has been called the "Prince of Preachers." He achieved his title by being devoted to the Word of God and the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Spurgeon had a sharp mind, encyclopedic knowledge of the Puritan writers and world history, and a near-photographic memory. God blessed Spurgeon with a keen intellect. God used these attributes in significant ways in Spurgeon's life and ministry.

In this episode, we want to learn from the "Prince of Preachers." Spurgeon offers preachers of all ages six gems to guide us in our sermon preparation. Join me in this episode, and let's learn from Spurgeon.

The following list is what I will speak about today.
1. Fiercely Protect Your Preparation Time.
2. Select Short Texts, Then Rotate.
3. Write Manuscripts or Outlines . . . and Let Your Wife Help.
4. Feed Sheep, Not Giraffes.
5. Have the Humility to Consult Commentaries.
6. Preach Jesus Christ.
