Even more so, was the underlying question of, "What's the point of the CMC and what is the MCPON even there for?" Josh pulls up an article from 5 years ago celebrating the 50th anniversary of the MCPON office, and breaks down some of the feelings highlighted in it. He the addresses how some of those feelings trickle down and leave that sour taste in Sailors mouths as to why the CMC position even exists.
