This one's from back in the Blab.im days when I went through the process of "Goal Setting to the Now," which is a really powerful exercise from The ONE Thing by Gary Keller & Jay Papasan. It's interesting because it I really put myself out there with my goals and here we are, end of 2016 and at the end of the day this episode actually makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. The reason I feel funny about it is because I did not actually fulfill these goals. Instead, I've taken a massive pivot. First of all, I'm not coaching anymore. I don't have a desire to fully seat my group coaching cohorts because I've shifted my thinking and I'm focused on my new ONE Thing, which is to build my scaleable business, to build my legacy, my Real Accountable platform. Second, I failed. I was unable to fully seat my cohort and it wasn't due to lack of effort…looking back, you know, my heart just wasn't 100% committed and I think it's because I knew without recognizing it at the time that coaching wasn't the ultimate goal for me in business. I originally released this content on Blab.im because after talking to a lot of entrepreneurs and employees, the overwhelming issue that plagues both is that the vast majority aren't deliberate about what they're working on, or HOW they're executing.
