We often think of Dopamine as a "happy hormone" however, as we unpack in today's episode, it can become very toxic. Ie. that feel-good moment you get when you get a notification on your phone or that happy feeling you get before you eat junk food. Only leaving you to often feel worse after. This is because dopamine is actually the hormone released before the action not after.
