On April 15th, 2014, Pharoahe Monch released his fourth studio album, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) oThe album tackles PTSD; a severe anxiety disorder that can develop after exposure to any event that results in psychological trauma. Throughout the duration of the LP, Monch narrates as an independent artist weary from the war against the industry machine and struggles of just living life. The album features artists such as: Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Denaun Porter, The Stepkids and Vernon Reid, as well as production from Lee Stone, Marco Polo, Jesse West and Quelle Chris. Here’s my interview with the Pharoahe Monch, including music from the album.
