Kristen Cook, MD is a pediatrician, author and mama of two strong-willed kids. She is passionate about helping parents create a more peaceful and effective parenting experience.

She married the love of my life in 2010. About a month later she started her medical practice, and her husband was finishing his PhD program. We had a great life, a cute little condo and a dog named Gizmo. We loved to travel. She was happy, but wanted to start a family. About 9 months before she became pregnant, she actually started feeling jealous because it seemed like everyone in our circle was getting pregnant, except for her.
