Over 20 years ago Marina and Liliya moved to the United States from Kiev, Ukraine. Growing up with a love of clothes and watching their mom as a talented seamstress, Marina became skilled in tailoring and making clothes. Two short years after moving to St Paul, they opened "Perfect Fit by Marina," a small but now well-known alterations and dressmaking shop.
As that business grew, so did their love of style. Marina and Liliya, dreamt of expanding the business to create a fashion destination for women became a reality in 2012, when opening ATELIER957 in a victorian home on Grand Avenue.
The clothing and accessories they carry are mainly from small designers in Europe and locally in the U.S. who handsew or create each piece. Marina and Liliya's collections are meticulously chosen so women of all ages, shapes, sizes, and personalities can feel comfortable and confident.
