They talk about how 2023 treated them, review major events and celebrity deaths, and DO NOT revisit interesting events from a whole decade ago (you can Google major events from 2013 for yourself). And it all culminates with the 2023 Backies where they recognize the best stuff of the year, agree on a bunch of stuff, barter who gets to pick when there’s a tie, and actually come to a pretty good consensus on person of the year!
