My mother always told me that there is no excuse for rudeness. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. There was a time when our elected officials actually treated each other with respect. Today it’s all about tearing down those that have opposing viewpoints. What happened to civility? Civility is something we should expect from our leaders and from ourselves.
