Students experience some of the most beneficial learning opportunities in the clinical setting. As a student, do you feel accomplished and proud of your learning at the end of each clinic session? If not - this episode may provide you with some help. In this episode, we will review the first three of six perceptions that are holding you back in the clinical setting as a student. There are opportunities with each session to connect the dots on the process of care. If you are experiencing some of these perceptions, your valuable clinic time can become a source of frustration as challenges arise. We will review some of the perceptions that I observe in the clinical learning environment and offer suggestions on ways to make adjustments to these perceptions. My goal is to help you identify and adjust to make your clinic sessions more productive, less stressful, and just a better overall learning experience.
