The Concussion Community

98. Losing friends after a concussion - Why it can be a positive thing + (Quiet) activities I like right now

Listen Later

For a long time, I stuck to the idea that it was all temporary and that I would be the old me soon. I tried to hold onto every friendship, also those that didn’t serve me in my healing process.

Holding on to something that didn’t serve me anymore was making me sad and it causes even more stress for my brain. I was “waiting” for so long to become the old me again, but I was done with waiting, something needed to change.

In this podcast, I talk about my experience with losing friends and why this can be a positive thing.
