No truer words have been spoken when it comes to entertainment, particularly in the area of music.
At this point in time, no music is actually created (if you are judging by the dictionary definition of "create"), but rather it is merely invented. As a music creator (Lol! See what we did there), one should not feel some type of way when borrowing sounds or styles from your musical predecessors.
But where do we draw the line between influence and mimicry? Between following a blueprint and copying the plans.
