In THE GENERAL'S DAUGHTER John Travolta has an atrocious Southern accent for a stretch of undercover work but thankfully for the enjoyment of at least one host he manages to sweat for nearly the entire runtime of this problematic thriller. Madeline Stowe attempts to be the only adult in the room as we kink-shame the Army before we really shame them for truly foul deeds. Call at least one host crazy (but you'd be right to apply that to both) but this movie remains kind of fun. Kind of. And that's goddamn good enough. Click here:
