What do you think of when you hear the words, "You need to grow up?" What does it mean to be a "grown-up?" In our culture a big part of maturity is independence. An essential part of adult life is independence. That's why it's very confusing to our minds that in Christ, growing up is growing into complete and utter dependence on God. As believers growing doesn't make us need God less. In fact as we grow up in Christ, we need our Savior more desperately.
