Susan Daniels knew one way of life in Freeborn, Kentucky after being the daughter of an out-of-work coal miner: welfare and government support. So when she met Kenneth Smith, who’s drug-dealing live was very tempting, she ran with it.

Years later, she was right back where she started, except this time she had two children and was in an weird relationship with Kenneth who she wasn’t in a relationship with, but still lived together for the children.

That’s when she began informing to the FBI on the activities and plans of one of Kenneth’s friends, Cat Eyes, in exchange for money.
