Alan Mathison Turing was born on June 23, 1912, in Maida Vale, London, England. He was the alternate son of Julius Mathison Turing and Ethel Sara Turing( née Stoney). His father worked with the Indian Civil Service, and the family had strong ties to British social India. Alan’s early nonage was marked by ages of separation from his parents, who frequently traveled back to India, leaving Alan and his aged family, John, in the care of guardians in England.

Whether pulled from nature, a shifting declamation, the words of a tutor or within themselves, the touch of the light of alleviation will fall on every life at one time or another, reminding them of their reason to be and what they can do. It does n't roar — it glows. It does n't demand — it guides. The ordinary studies turn into fancies and the fancies into action in its presence. To follow the light of alleviation is to calculate on the silent strength outside and believe in changes and go ahead with passion. When companions with it, it becomes a companion for life, shining way for us and for those around us. It's a gift – and it transforms the world formerly discovered.
