I am getting to really addicted to Satanism as I find it to be very addictive to me in a what you might call a very erotic religion if you know what I mean. I live in Ireland and there are no places to go to meet other satanists and I’m sure there more like me here as well. I’m contacting you to see if you can help me with some contacts or some way I can get deeper into Satanism so I can go forward with it. Hopefully you might get a chance to contact me with some guidance going forward. Hair Satan. * Satanism and Drugs* Good day Reverend, * your series of the 9th sense has been a great inspiration and lots of food for thought in developing my personal worldview, strength and self-confidence - something satanism in general also excels at, and i wanted to tank you for that. * In a recent episode you talked about the interview with Jack Fritscher, something I also read fully afterwards. One of LaVeys answers made me think about a personal issue i'd like your opinion on, here is the relevant part: * "The Absolute Satanist is totally aware of his own abilities and limitations. On this self-knowledge he builds his character. The Absolute Satanist is far removed from the masses who look for Satanic pleasure in the psychedelics of the head shops. [..] Certainly I don’t oppose this for other people who get stoned out of their minds. When they do this, the more material things there will be for me and my followers since all those people who freaked themselves out on drugs will be satisfied with their pills and will move off to colonies based on drugs. The rest of us, the materialists, will inherit the world." * Life is a constant act of balance, our religion also teaches to embrace the pleasures of life to it's fullest, but I have friends loosing themselves in drug fueled pleasures. With a sheer lack of self-knowledge they use these satanic ideas as a excuse to continue to run away from themselves. * How can those friends be helped here? LaVey would say: Satanism is not a religion for the masses, let them be. - But I care. * In Psychology, setting personal goals is a often used practice of motivation, manipulating someone into chasing materialistic things may be a option, but will that lead to liberation? * Hail Satan

* Colorado State Board Drops ‘Sex Offender’ Term Calling It A Negative Label* https://denver.cbslocal.com/2021/11/19/sex-offender-negative-label/* The way sex offenders are labeled is changing in Colorado. The board that sets state standards voted today to change the term “sex offenders” to reflect so-called “person-first” language.* The Sex Offender Management Board, which is made up of everyone from public defenders to prosecutors, sets standards and guidelines for treatment providers so the new terminology will only be used in that context. It doesn’t change the term sex offender in law or the criminal justice system but some worry it’s a step in that direction.
