Ade Richardson is a producer/director and podcaster. Growing up on the border of Bedford Stuyvesant and Crown Heights in Brooklyn, New York, Ade benefited from the rich cultural and ethnic diversity of the area. The people in his neighborhood inspired many characters that he would create for his films. Ade’s talent for film directing was developed at Brooklyn College, where he studied under professor Robert Tutak. Ade uses his passion for writing and directing to find greater truth about himself and the world around him. In 2010 he started his film production company Satari films. Ade’s intention is to make films that inspire people to reach their highest potential. In March of 2020 he created a Facebook page called Guided Meditations and More, where he offered daily live guided meditations to help those that were having a difficult time with the COVID-19 pandemic. In June of 2020, Ade created the Guided Meditations and More podcast where he interviews various types of people on a variety of topics. Today Ade spends much of his time working on his puppet comedy show. Blue News is a news parody comedy show where Ade interviews stuffed animals.
At 'Here's Tom with the Weather'...where we investigate the plethora of Higher powers that populate the vast universe of 12 step Recovery - where alcoholics riff out on step 3 and step 11... as prescribed by the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous who encourage us to find some kind of higher power – as long as it's not us...
We speak to people with all manner of higher powers - from those who are atheists, sufis, agnostics, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Followers of Islam, Hermetics, Paganists, NON-DUALITY...we leave no stone unturned...its our aim to promote understanding and open-mindedness so that alcoholics and addicts can find a higher power of their own - to stay sober and carry the message.
We promote tolerance and empathy for folks who have different spiritual practices than us. It's all about Live and Let Live.
Please remember that this is not an AA meeting... it's just some people's version of the truth – whatever that may be.
Sometimes we talk to seekers, to gurus and to people not necessarily in recovery ...
