Hello friends, and welcome to the Village Kids Podcast. It's the first week of the New Year, and we're excited to be diving back into the Bible so we can learn more about who God is and what He's like. The Bible is like a special library of books, all in one book, that tells one big story about God and His plan for the world and for us.

Today, we're going to listen to the opening of the New Testament — the beginning of the good news about Jesus. The story starts in a way we might not expect: with a family line. A long list of names that shows Jesus didn't appear out of nowhere. He came into real history, from a real family, with real ancestors. Let's dive in and see what we can learn together.
