Sometimes, we as parents make promises that are conditional like “if you clean your room, we can go get chicken nuggets at McDonalds”, which bases the promise upon the child’s behavior instead of our character. But God does not do that in the New Covenant. He keeps His promise because of His character, in spite of our behavior. Pastor Duane shows us how the old covenant faded away and what the new covenant means for us.
