How does one become a better dad today? As parents, raising our children properly is one of the most important and consequential things we will ever do. And yet, I have seen first hand how some parents make some serious mistakes that have lasting consequences in the mental and emotional health of their children.    Some parents just emulate what their parents did before them, even when there is clear evidence of the detrimental effects of continuing those practices.    When it comes to preparing the next generation, simply going through the motions and just  “winging it” may not be the best approach.
