Hebrews 7:1-10

From one Old Testament figure, Melchizedek, we are reminded that you and I don’t serve a dead King, but one who is alive, who is ruling and reigning in all power and authority. And likewise, we do not have a high priest with term limits because he gets old and has to retire. Our High Priest is the High Priest, forever mediating, forever interceding for His people.
