Join me with guest Barbara Davis talking about being an advocate in the foster care system for 40 years. Barbara faced some challeges as a young teen and from a young age decided that she would help others. As a comedian and storyteller for youth, she speaks out for children's issues by producing her children's talk show "The Little Live Show " and most recently a teen special, " Teens Are Talking" . Barbara has a background in media, publishing, and music recording. She has worked as an artist in residence in many schools throughout California teaching youth effective communication and self-esteem building tools through the performing arts. She conducts acting workshops where these skills are taught.
