This episode features a conversation with my friend and guest, Durrell Mack.

Durrell is a husband, father of two, and a collector of mental models, who is trying to be 0.2% better everyday, so he can be 2x better every year. He is focusing on incremental improvements and slowly compounding his knowledge and abilities in all aspects of life.

In this first half of our conversation, Durrell and I talk about our growing up experiences and how it's played into creating the type of environment we want for our respective family. We also share some tricks of the trade we've learned along the way that has helped us manage our frustrations with our children. We also spend some time talking about the inevitability of feeling frustrated as parents, and important things we can do to keep a level head in those moments.
