The heat is very much on Málaga now, as Amorebieta and Real Sociedad B, below them in the league, gain ground over Málaga in the race to stay above the relegation precipice. Málaga did not help their own plight by losing their Friday night game away to Las Palmas with goals from Jonathan Viera and Jesé helping Las Palmas grab all 3 points, despite Aleix Febas replying with a goal late on. And things don’t get any easier as we welcome in-form Real Oviedo to La Rosaleda this Saturday evening.
