To this day, eating a meal with others is a truly cultural experience. Back in the first century, to eat with someone was to fully embrace that person as an equal. Jesus broke all the rules by eating with... well, everyone. You could say he had "scandalous hospitality." We find that in building a bigger table, everyone is welcome and everyone is invited.
