In this episode of Almost-107 Briar Wilson visited the Fanshawe College Institute of Indigenous Learning, where she joined them for a bite to eat and learned about their culture through food. Listen along as Briar learns how to make nachos with Belinda and discovers how food can connect us as humans. Part of Belinda's job as a transition counsellor is helping students transition from life on the reserve to life on campus which can be a huge change, one of her favourite ways to do that is through her weekly lunches where she serves students some comfort food that can bring them a piece of home.
