Psalm 119 is a hymn to God's Word and the longest chapter in the Bible. It is divided up into 22 sections of 8 verses each. Each of the 22 sections begins with a succeeding letter of the Hebrew alphabet with each verse in the section also beginning with that same letter. This was done on purpose to help God's people cling to the miracle that is his Word.

We will be taking a look at the 2nd section. Psalm 119:9. It begins like this: "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your Word." Then, this section closes with this line in v. 16: "I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your Word." We are blessed to have God's blessed life-lessons tucked between these opening and closing verses. We will do the opposite of neglect. We will delight.
