My name is JD. I was the front man for the band Sofa King for many years as well as a music promoter and a slam poet. I quit all that three years ago to focus on film/novels. I have been writing now for 19 years, starting out as a slam poet in 1990. I represented O.C. CA in the nationals for slam poetry in 2000. I am originally from O.C., CA moving to Seattle, WA in 2000. Anyway, that's me.
